Norwood Gardens

The Gardens
The gardens at Norwood extend to about 3 acres. They consist of a central path,
the 'Long Walk', with individual gardens on either side. As you progress along
the Long Walk at first each of these gardens is about the size of a large
domestic garden. Each has its own character in terms of planting and
landscaping.
In the lower part of the gardens, after the 'Bogless' Bog and Quiet
Gardens there is a more open feeling with the daffodil beds to the left and the
sunken Dark & Light Garden to the right.
The Dark & Light garden is
still under construction. The design of the site 'borrows' the surrounding
countryside and aims to provide a natural progression from the landscaped
gardens to the agricultural landscape in the middle distance and hills beyond.
There are seats throughout the gardens.
Tea Room
Enjoy a light lunch, cream tea or perhaps a tea or coffee with a cake in our
delightful Tea Room. The conservatory offers a beautiful view down the garden
and to the hills beyond.
